Nyx

     Nyx was the deity in Greek Mythology. She was personified as the night. Nyx is the daughter of Chaos. However she is the sister of Gaea,Erebus, and Tartarus. She was married to her brother Erebus, and had many children. Including Charon, Eris, Geras, Thanatos, Hypons, and Nemesis. Her home was in Tartarus, along with her children. And Nyx's nick name was Nox.

      Achelous is a deity in Greek history. He is the river god of the river eponymous, which is the largest river in Greece. This is why he is one of the most important out of all the river gods. Achelous is either described as a gray old man with a beard or as a bearded young man. He Is also called Acheloos.

  Demeter is the goddess of agriculture, fertility, and earth. She also known as Ceres. Demeter is associated with the seasons.Her only daughter, Persephone had eaten food in the under-world so Hades claimed her as his wife. Demeter is known for founding the Eleusinian Mysteries. 

Zeus

   Zeus is the the god of the sky, rain and is the ruler of Olympus. Zeus also known as Jupiter. He has two brothers, Poseidon, Hades, and Hera his only sister and wife. His weapon is his lightning bolt/ master bolt. Zeus' favorite child is Athena who popped out of his forehead fully grown and covered in armor. He allowed her to use all his weapons including his master bolt.

Athena is the goddess of reason, activity, literature, and intelligent. Athena was born from Zeus' forehead. She came out of his forehead dressed in armor and full grown. Athena was Zeus' favorite child. Since she was his favorite she was allowed to use Zeus' weapons such as, his lightning bolt. Athena is strong and brave in war. She is the goddess of the Athens.
    She became goddess of the Athens when she won a contest against Poseidon.Athena and Athens came from the same root word Athens is the plural of Athena, their goddess. Athena's symbol is the Owl. Her holy tree is the olive tree.
